Purchased this while camping where the water had a bit of a sulfer smell. As soon as I install the filter the smell went away. The reason for only 3 stars is that the filter did not get rid of the hose taste in the water. I don't have a way to install the filter after the hose so it's hard to say whether or not it would remove this taste if the filter was installed just before it entered the camper.

Product worked fine until it cracked. Woke up one morning and my RV was sitting in a small pond. Never had a filter break open like that before. Since I bought a two pack, I installed the second one. If the issue continues, switching brands may be the solution.
