Heavy duty cast iron griddle that works great on top of a grill. Has raised area on one side and flat on the other. The raised area makes great grill marks on the steaks and the griddle keeps the flames from coming up and scorching the meat.

Buyers beware, it's not easy to clean as stated. I followed the instructions carefully before first use, but after the grill, it took me a hard time to remove all the sticky meat. Not worth for the money I spent. Wonder if I can return since it's already been used.

First the cons- This thing weighs a dangerous amount. If I drop it on my foot? Goodbye toes. It’s really difficult to clean and I can only imagine that being much more so the case on a camping trip when you’re trying to bin wash it.It’s narrower than expected but does just fit over our gas stove grates.Pros- the grill side makes perfect grilled chicken indoors.It’s definitely real cast iron

Excellent grill for pancakes. Works well. Only downfall is the weight. It’s quite heavy, but cast iron usually is of weight substance. Easy to clean. Great purchase. Will last forever. Lodge makes quality cast iron products.
