The cover of the book is a dirty cream, the edges are jagged and the pages are brown indicating the extreme 'old age' of the book! We book lovers don't buy books just to read once anf throw it, but there is a joy in reading it over and over qgain and in the preservation of the book. If this book is already so old, I can't expect this book to sustain repeated use for long! Ridiculous that we can be sold old stuff for price of new!

This is a pirated copy of the book. There is no way the paper and the print would be this bad in an original Vintage publication. It is very disappointing that Amazon is allowing this.

Murakami est de loin mon auteur préféré. Le roman est un recueil de brèves histoires d'hommes entourés de solitude dans l'obscurité de la nuit. C'est un scénario déchirant mais passionnant qui me donne envie de tourner la page pour en savoir plus. L'histoire «Burning Barns» m'a laissé perplexe et l'adaptation cinématographique l'a rendu encore meilleur.
