I bought this for the obvious: spreading frosting, but then find myself using it habitually for everything from a serving tool to a butter knife. It's really well made and has held up in like new condition during a year's worth of daily use.

its way too small than i expected but definitely useful....my bad, may be i expected wrong..I used it for icing my chocolate layer cake and its not that hard to do icing using this small spatula....i would definitely recommend this...

At first, I thought it may be too small, too thin. But when I used it to frost my latest cake, it was perfect for the top and sides of my strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting. Yum.

Keep in mind that the actual metal end of the spatula isn't 9 inches, this is more for smaller jobs. Awesome if you're a cupcake fanatic or getting the trim right on cakes.
